How to Delete a Contact Sync in gPanel
This guide walks you through how to remove a contact sync configuration that’s no longer needed in gPanel.
The Delete Contact Sync function allows administrators to permanently remove a synchronization policy from the system.
Key Functions of Delete Contact Sync
- Removing the Policy: Clicking the delete icon (trash can) removes the specific sync configuration from your automation list, meaning the rule will no longer trigger.
- Retention of Synced Data: Deleting the sync policy typically does not automatically remove the contacts that have already been pushed to user accounts; it simply stops future updates or additions from occurring.
- Cleanup: It is primarily used to declutter the automation dashboard by removing old or redundant sync rules that are no longer needed for the organization.
How to Delete Contact Sync
- Select the contact sync that you would like to delete from the list of all contact sync. It will be highlighted when selected.
- Click Delete in the action menu

3. A confirmation popup will appear. If you want to permanently delete labels and contacts associated with this sync for all destination users, check the box. Confirm that you want to delete the template and click Delete.
