Why We’re Updating gPanel Pricing (And How It Benefits You)

Written by gPanel by Promevo | May 28, 2025 9:00:01 AM

At Promevo, our mission is to help organizations get the most value out of Google Workspace. That’s why we’ve made significant investments in gPanel, from performance upgrades and expanded features to deeper automation and stronger security controls.

To support this ongoing innovation and ensure we continue delivering a best-in-class experience, we’re updating our gPanel pricing starting July 1, 2025. This change reflects the increased value of the platform while helping us invest even more into the tools, functionality, and support you rely on.

In this blog, we’ll walk through what’s changing, how it affects your account, and — most importantly — how it benefits your organization.

What’s Changing

Starting July 1, 2025, the new gPanel subscription pricing will be:

  • gPanel Starter: $15 per user/year
  • gPanel Standard: $30 per user/year
  • gPanel Archived User: $10.50 per user/year
  • gPanel Enterprise: Contact your dedicated Client Success Manager or our sales team for pricing.

Additionally, we’re introducing a new 35-user minimum purchase threshold for gPanel Starter and Standard plans.

We’ll also be offering a platform fee model for enterprise-level organizations or companies that require a lot of users. If your organization is interested in exploring this option, please contact our sales team or your dedicated Promevo Client Success Manager.

Why We’re Updating gPanel Pricing

Over the past year, we’ve delivered some of the most significant upgrades to gPanel since the platform launched — improving speed, ease of use, and control for IT administrators.

In early 2025, we released gPanel 2.5, a major update designed to save your team time and streamline administration. Key highlights include:

  • 50% faster load times
  • Improved search with recent history
  • Light/dark mode toggle + user bookmarks
  • Route persistence that saves your place after refreshing or logging back into the platform
  • Enhanced grid features like better sorting, filtering, and multi-select actions
  • …and a whole lot more.

These updates were designed with usability and efficiency in mind — allowing you to take action faster, reduce manual work, and simplify the way you manage Google Workspace.

We’ve also added dozens of new features over the last year, including but not limited to:

  • Rules Engine for advanced automation (Enterprise tier)
  • More control in Shared Drives and Drive Sweep
  • Recovery phone/email fields in User Creation
  • Enhanced calendar visibility and management
  • Bulk contact deletion by label
  • View all calendars a user can access (not just owned)
  • Drive search filtering reset functionality
  • Grouped report types for quicker navigation

What’s Next for gPanel

We’re actively developing new functionality across security, automation, and reporting — so you can take on more work with less manual effort.

On our public roadmap:

  • Expanded Triggers & Actions (Group, File, Calendar, Chat, Activity)
  • New policy types and automation options
  • Improved security posture and compliance tools
  • Enhanced reporting + additional report types
  • Drive label visibility
  • Sharing expiration and control policies
  • Drive search improvements

We’re also planning long-term enhancements not yet on our public roadmap — so you can expect even more value from gPanel over time.

How This Affects Your Account

The new pricing will apply to any gPanel subscriptions that renew on or after July 1, 2025.

If your organization is on a:

  • Flexible (monthly) subscription: Your service will reflect our new rates beginning July 1, 2025 and you will see this change reflected on your invoice for July.
  • Annual commitment: The new pricing will take effect when your current term renews starting July 1, 2025.

If you have questions or want to discuss your options, including switching to a commitment plan to lock in savings, our Client Success team is happy to assist you.
