Upgraded Interface for Device Management Tools

What's Changing

Promevo has rolled out a new user interface (UI) for gPanel's device management tools, including both the Chrome devices and mobile management modules.

With the new devices UI, admins are able to view more columns of data than were previously available in V1. These columns have also been modified to better align with cPanel and provide more formatting capabilities, so users can more effectively sort and filter information. Finally, admins now have the ability to move devices to different organizational units (OUs).

Why It’s Important

One of the most common requests we receive from current gPanel users is to improve the platform's user experience and to make it easier to find and take certain actions.

The V2 UI will not only enhance user experience but also allow us to build more modern-looking features into gPanel as well as make the application faster, more responsive, and include new levels of functionality we weren't previously able to provide.

Deployed across the gPanel platform on April 29, 2024.
