gPanel Platform Update: Gmail Deletion Updates

What's Changing

Promevo has made several enhancements to the Gmail deletion feature within gPanel. 

In the v1 version of the platform, admins previously accessed the Gmail deletion tool by expanding the "Tools" menu.

In v2, admins will now find the Gmail deletion tool under the "Import/ Export" section on the left-hand navigation menu. 

Additionally, we've updated the search criteria within the Gmail deletion tool to align with the search filters available in the native Gmail application.

Why It’s Important 

Gmail deletion is a crucial feature within gPanel, allowing administrators to mass-delete potentially harmful or malicious emails across their organization.

Our recent updates to the tool create a more familiar, unified experience for Workspace administrators as they navigate the Google ecosystem, so they can focus less on configuring searches and more on taking precise administrative action. 

Rollout Pace 

• Deployed to gPanel Standard and Enterprise on June 21, 2024.
