What’s Changing

In an ongoing effort to give our clients’ even more visibility into their Google Workspace environment, Promevo has added many new reports to the gPanel platform this year. Today, we’re unveiling our newest addition: the Activities Shared Report for publicly-shared documents in ‘Shared Drive.’

Using the Activities Shared Report, administrators will now have insight into the history of all documents their employees have shared publicly from ‘Shared Drive.’

Why It’s Important

In order to ensure data security, enforce policy adherence, and prevent unauthorized sharing of confidential information, Workspace admins must be aware of what employees are sharing with external audiences.

gPanel® now provides a history of documents shared publicly with external audiences from ‘Shared Drive.’ This new report allows admins to easily identify which documents they need to revoke access to, change ownership of, and perform other critical actions.

Deployed to gPanel Standard and Enterprise on June 26, 2023.
