Feature Updates

• Login Page
  • For organizations interested in gPanel, we've added a "Request a Demo" section on the login page. This provides a simple way for prospective customers to connect with our team.
• Drive > Drive Explorer > Move
  • You can now move files directly to a selected Shared Drive using the Move function within the Drive Explorer.
• Automation > Decommissioning > Add Policy
  • We've updated the process for adding a decommissioning policy to improve usability and add more functionality.
    • Full-Screen Experience: The "Add Policy" screen has been redesigned to provide a full-screen view, giving you more space to configure your settings.
    • Default Destination User: A new option to set a Default Destination User is now available. When selected, this user will be automatically applied to all actions within the policy, simplifying setup and ensuring consistency.
• Report Center > Reports > User Saved Views
• Automation > Policies > User Saved Views
  • Introducing Saved Views for Reports  and Policies! You can now save your customized report configurations for quick access. This new feature allows you to:
    • Save up to five unique report views.
    • Preserve all your selected columns and applied filters.
    • Assign a custom title and color to each saved view for easy identification.
    • These Saved Views are for individual users and are not shared within the domain.
• Administration > Role Manager > Select Role > Role Members
  • To streamline administration, you can now add members to a role by selecting a Google Group, making it easier to manage role assignments in bulk.

• Delegated Admin Roles
  • Previously, delegated admin roles would encounter an error message when attempting to access modules or sections of the application they were unauthorized to view. With this update, delegated admin roles will no longer be able to navigate to areas of the application to which they do not have access.
• Automation > Drive Sweep
  1. The Drive Sweep process now initiates automatically upon creation.
  2. The description of Drive Sweep processes has been updated to clearly communicate the sweep schedule to end-users.
  3. Users now have the ability to manually trigger the Drive Sweep process.
• Import / Export > Gmail Deletion
  • We've updated the process for adding a Gmail Deletion to improve usability and add more functionality.
    • Full-Screen Experience: The "Add Gmail Deletion" screen has been redesigned to provide a full-screen view, giving you more space to configure your settings.
• Automation > Gmail Deletion
  • We've completely redesigned the creation experience for Gmail Deletion. We've removed the pop-up windows and replaced them with a streamlined, full-screen interface to make setting up your automations more intuitive
• Calendars > Resource Templates
  • We've completely redesigned the creation experience for Resource Templates. We've removed the pop-up windows and replaced them with a streamlined, full-screen interface to make setting up your automations more intuitive
• User Management > Select User > Drive
  • You can now view Google Drive shortcuts directly within a user's Drive file list. 
• Report Center > Reports
  • We've added the ability to set an end date for scheduled reports. When creating or editing a report schedule, you can now specify a date for it to automatically stop running. Once the end date is reached, the schedule will be disabled, giving you more control and saving you from having to manually manage old reports.

• Drive > Drive Search
  • You can now easily see a file's full location when searching your Drive. Simply hover over the Location column to view the complete file path. For quicker navigation, you can click on any parent folder in the breadcrumb trail to go directly to that folder.
• Drive > Shared Drive
  • A new button has been added that allows you to copy all the email addresses of users with access to a specific Shared Drive with a single click.
• Automation > Signature Templates
  • We've completely redesigned the creation experience for Signature Templates. We've removed the pop-up windows and replaced them with a streamlined, full-screen interface to make setting up your automations more intuitive
• Reports
  • We've improved clarity for large report exports. If a report exceeds the maximum row or column limit, the exported sheet will now include a message in the final row to notify you that the limit has been reached and the report will stop processing

Bug Fixes

• Reports > Group Membership
  • We corrected an error that caused Group Membership tasks to fail or not execute as intended. Actions related to managing group members will now complete successfully.
• Automation > Decommissioning 
  • Resolved an issue where actions failed due to unset destination user emails.
• Automation > Bulk Operations
  • Fixed an issue where some bulk operations were not running as intended
• Automation > Rules Engine
  • We've resolved an issue within the Rules Engine that could occasionally cause multiple emails to be sent from a single trigger. Your automated rules will now correctly send only one email per trigger event.
• User Management > User 
  • We fixed a bug that prevented user profiles from being updated if the Gender field was set to "Unknown". You can now successfully save changes to user profiles regardless of the value selected in this field.
