gPanel API App Key Description

gPanel API App Keys can now include a Description when they are created. The Description field and table column are now visible in the gPanel API Key Table/List.

Why this matters:

This allows users or admins to easily identify the purpose of each API key without leaving gPanel.

Change log option to 'View' Drive permissions

Within role permissions, Admins can now enable or disable the Change Log requirement for View Drive permissions:

• View Drive Search
• View User Drive Search Table

When enabled, users will be required to provide a justification (view log) before accessing these Drive views. More permissions to come.

Why this matters:

This helps admins control access to sensitive Drive data and ensures users provide a reason before viewing it. It also improves visibility and audit tracking of user activity and events through logs. This is especially important for our Enterprise customers as they are primarily concerned with security and compliance.

Decommissioning Policy Send Email Action with Additional Email Types

The Send Email action now includes an Email Type dropdown (Home, Work, Other, or Custom) and lets you select a user or group as the recipient, automatically using the correct information address from their user or group profile.

Why this matters:

This enhancement automatically sends important offboarding instructions (like equipment return steps) to the user or group, reducing manual work, minimizing errors, and ensuring consistent communication.

Bug Fixes

• Billing Currency

  • Resolved an issue where Google Workspace licensing costs were displayed in CAD instead of USD, even though the system configuration was set to USD.

• Groups Indexing 

  • Resolved an issue where only 27 groups were being indexed in Directory → Groups, and any manually indexed groups would be lost upon reindexing.

• Add Delegate Action

  • Resolved issue regarding the ‘Add Delegate’ action within a decommissioning policy.

• Decommissioning Policy

  • Fixed an issue where editing a policy with no summary users caused a Zod validation error due to incorrect null handling.

• MUI X DataGrid ClientErrorException

  • Fixed a ClientErrorException in MUI X to ensure useGridRootProps is only used inside DataGrid, DataGridPro, or DataGridPremium components, preventing runtime errors.
